Investing in Urban
Urban was founded in 1966 by a group of parents who wanted to create a different kind of high school -- one that puts students at the center of the learning process. These early education innovators wanted Urban to be an environment that would nurture students’ excitement for learning and their curiosity about the world. Their dream of a better way to educate high school students lives on to this day, thanks in great part to the generous and steadfast financial support from our community over the past 50+ years.
Today, gifts to Urban ensure our leadership in providing an innovative high school education, while igniting a passion for learning in our students in both high school and beyond. The resources and benefits available to our students and teachers today are the result of the vision and generosity of many Urban parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents and friends who understood the value of investing in an Urban education. Thank you for your interest in joining our community of supporters and ensuring that Urban continues to thrive.
