Welcome Class of 2023!

Congratulations New Blues and Families! We are thrilled to have you join the Urban community, and extend a very hearty welcome to our new Urban students! We look forward to joining with you in creating a memorable, challenging and successful high school
experience for you and your family.

You now join a special community of students, parents/guardians, alumni and former parents from the school’s 52-year history. Over the next few months and until school begins on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, please consult this page for information and updates.

We understand that some students might have questions about academics and/or student life at Urban. Please feel free to email us at admissions@urbanschool.org and we will be happy to answer your questions or put you in touch with a current student!

Bobby, Lauren, Chris & Student Admissions Committee

PAST Due May 3: Online Forms
We ask that parents/guardians login to the Urban Parent Portal to complete the online student forms, including emergency release, medical history, field trip approval, etc. Use the same login that Admissions provided for completing your enrollment contract (available on Ravenna if you need it again). Once we have data on all second parents/guardians in the household, we will create individual Parent Portal logins for those who do not have one. All forms at Urban are done once as incoming Freshman, and then updated annually or as needed.

Due May 10: Admission Survey
Please see your email for the Admissions survey link. Your honest opinion helps us create a dynamic program each year and ensures that we are providing the most helpful information for families making a decision about which high school works best for student and family. If you did not receive the email with the survey link, let us know at admissions@urbanschool.org.

UrbanWear and BluesWear
Urban spirit wear, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, shorts and more are available for order online here. Items will be shipped directly to you. We will also have a store at the New Freshman Welcome event on May 4. And New Blues, don’t forget to stop by the front desk to pick up your special gift! Go Blues!

Freshman Orientation – Save the Date!
Freshman orientation is scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, August 28-30, 2019. These are mandatory days for incoming Freshman students. The first day of fall term classes is the day after Labor Day, Tuesday, September 3.
