Two hundred years ago, a teenage Mary Shelley was at work on her stunning novel Frankenstein, or, The Modern Prometheus. Set amid the icy landscapes of Europe, it paints an aching picture of the human condition, from longing and love, to the rage of rejection.
To commemorate the anniversary, we invite you to attend Urban's production of Frankenstein. None of us chooses to be born. Confronted with a loveless world of beauty and loss, how do we go on living? Shelley's questions, brought to life on the stage, are more wrenching and urgent than ever.
Online ticket sales to the Urban community begin Monday, February 13.
