How Blues Link Comes to Life

• Alumni in the Classroom - Alumni join Urban classes that connect to their professional or creative work. As guest speakers, alums help students see how classroom learning translates into real-world paths.
• Learning Beyond Campus - Students visit alumni at their places of work, gaining firsthand exposure to different careers and work environments.
• All-School Meetings - Alumni speakers and performers share their experiences and talents with the entire Urban community.
• Alumni Panels - Blues Link hosts alumni panels, such as:
  • The annual Alumni Jazz Band Panel, where alum musicians reflect on their musical journeys with current Jazz Band students
  • The College Advice Panel, held each May, where recent college graduates offer honest insights and advice to seniors about their college experiences

• Students exploring interests, college options, and career paths
• Young alumni seeking career guidance, information interviews, or connections
• Alumni who want to stay connected, give back, and share their experiences
