Urban believes that the best education occurs in a school made up of students, teachers, and families drawn from many different backgrounds and perspectives. We work to build an inclusive and equitable community — one where students and adults are welcomed and supported and where faces, voices, and experiences are reflected and valued.
Urban is committed to maintaining a strong financial assistance program to ensure an Urban education remains accessible to qualified students regardless of their economic circumstances. To provide full access to the range of opportunities at the school, Urban also supports non-tuition expenses based on the percentage of tuition support a student receives (including books, laptop fees, outdoor and global education trips, prom tickets, athletic practice gear, any college-related expenses such as standardized tests, college visits and specialized tutoring, and a food and beverage allowance in our cafes for students with high assistance packages; see additional items here).
Urban financial assistance packages support non-tuition based expenses.
