Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!

The goal of our entire community this year continues to be maintaining a healthy and safe school environment, while prioritizing in-school instruction.

We urge students and families to do their part to help ensure the safety of themselves and those around them by reviewing the recommendations and requirements below. We strongly encourage all students and families to get the annual COVID booster. 

HEALTH AND SAFETY: COVID
Please continue to notify the Health & Safety Team at healthsafety@urbanschool.org if your student tests positive for COVID. Students will receive permission to return to school regardless of their COVID test status after the student and their parent/guardian confirms that they are asymptomatic or with mild, lingering symptoms like an occasional cough, as long as they are fever-free without any fever-reducing medications for 24 hours. Students will be required to wear high-quality (KN95 or N95) masks through Day 10 of the COVID timeline provided to the student by the school. If your student has cold or flu-like symptoms, we strongly encourage them to take COVID tests and take precautions to prevent the spread of illness, including wearing a mask around others. We will continue to have KN95 masks and COVID-19 tests available at the front desks.
