School Operations During COVID: 2022-23

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! The goal of our entire community this year is to maintain a healthy and safe school environment, while prioritizing in-school instruction.

Each of us makes personal decisions daily that heavily impact those in our extended school community. We urge students and families to do their part to help ensure the safety of themselves and those around them. You or your children should never come to campus if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, and we hope you will pay close attention to public health guidelines decisions outside of Urban as well.

Has your child been exposed? Contact healthsafety@urbanschool.org for next steps.

Please visit this page throughout the year for information and school policy updates. Parents/guardians may access This Week at Urban for additional detail by logging into the Parent Portal. And always check the calendar to determine whether events are in person or virtual.

Contacting Urban About COVID Cases

If you have a question about our protocols or what you should do if exposed to or test positive for COVID-19, please contact our Pandemic Coordinator Evie Hidysmith (certified EMT and Urban alum!) or Drea Scally, Office and Logistics Manager, at healthsafety@urbanschool.org.
