School Operations During COVID: 2022-23

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! The goal of our entire community this year is to maintain a healthy and safe school environment, while prioritizing in-school instruction.

Each of us makes personal decisions daily that heavily impact those in our extended school community. We urge students and families to do their part to help ensure the safety of themselves and those around them. You or your children should never come to campus if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, and we hope you will pay close attention to public health guidelines decisions outside of Urban as well.

The Urban community should be aware that students participating in activities off campus (service learning, athletics, field trips, etc) may be in settings with different covid protocols than our own. We encourage you to talk to your family and make decisions about your own child’s mask wearing based on your level of comfort.

Has your child been exposed? Contact for next steps.

Please visit this page throughout the year for information and school policy updates. Parents/guardians may access This Week at Urban for additional detail by logging into the Parent Portal. And always check the calendar to determine whether events are in person or virtual.
