School Operations During COVID: 2021-22

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! We are happy to be back on campus full time and working within our standard in-person schedule. The goal of our entire community this year is to maintain a healthy and safe school environment.

Currently 100% of faculty/staff and 100% students at Urban are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and many adults have received a booster shot. We require all visitors to campus to be masked and show proof of vaccination. However the delta variant can still put our community at risk. Each of us makes personal decisions daily that heavily impact those in our extended school community. We urge students and families to do their part to help ensure the safety of themselves and those around them. You or your children should never come to campus if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, and we hope you will pay close attention to public health guidelines decisions outside of Urban as well. See Quick Tips for a Healthy Community below for more health-related information, including Urban’s rules for larger group gatherings and what to do if someone in your household is exposed to or tests positive for COVID.

Please visit this page throughout the year for information and policy updates. Parents/guardians may access This Week at Urban for additional detail by logging into the Parent Portal. And always check the calendar to determine whether events are in person or virtual.
