Tech Support at Urban
Tech Support, a group of faculty, staff and students, helps The Urban School community understand and take advantage of available technologies. Our mission is to make sure that technology doesn't byte!
More specifically, we offer several levels of support:
Help Desk
During the school day, Bethany, our Tech Support Specialist, provides immediate support to everyone on campus. Bethany is located in the Tech Office on the second floor.

Tech Café
Every Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch, in the Moon Room, we offer support sessions, demos and technology-related activities. Tech Café will be led by Tech Support students and staff. Some of the topics may focus on:
- specific computer and mobile applications
- support for class projects
- how to manage the use of your technology.
Evening Online Support
Evenings before school days, typically Sunday through Thursday, Tech Support student members respond to questions posted by the Urban community via email. When support is needed beyond email correspondence, members of the Urban community can share their screen with our Tech Support team via our Quick Support screen sharing application.
Web-Based Support
In addition to our help desk, we offer support materials on the following platforms:
Tech Blog - Our Urban Tech Support blog will address technical issues or offer suggestions on how to effectively use available technologies.
Vimeo - Videos related to technology usage at Urban will be posted by our Tech Support Team.
Facebook - Offering technology related posts via our Facebook page. "Like" us to keep up to date.
Twitter - If Twitter is your social network of choice, follow to access our tech related posts.
