E = Extra Time, Extra Learning
Urban's block schedule allows for students to take part in the student newspaper, music combos, yearbook, physical education classes or study halls, all during the school day. Varying E periods throughout the week create breaks in the schedule to allow for these co-curricular classes, as well as additional study time.
