5th Annual CIT Kicks Off
Posted 07/20/2010 03:37PM
After a successful CIT East Coast in Washington, DC, last month, CIT SF begins the week of July 19th. This marks the 5th year Urban has sponsored the Center for Innovative Teaching. Urban’s responsibility as a global educational leader to share its experiences in cutting-edge curriculum, teacher development and collaboration and use of digital tools in the classroom has been part of the school’s strategic plans for more than a decade.

In this week's classes, CIT Director Henri Picciotto teaches Visual Algebra, Lori Hebert goes Beyond the Textbook for language teachers, and Tech Director Howard Levin works with oral historians from across the country in the "Telling Their Stories" workshop.

Next week, the third annual Technology Symposium begins, as well as Picciotto’s Hands-On Geometry class.
