Transportation - Getting to Urban  

Urban is located in a densely populated neighborhood where parking is extremely limited. For this reason, we strongly urge that students use public transportation, walk or bike to school. The school has convenient access to a number of major bus and streetcar lines.

For our Marin County students, we now have bus service to and from Marin - Mill Valley and San Rafael. There will be one morning bus and two afternoon buses leaving Urban (3:30 and 6 p.m.). To sign up and for more detailed information, please click here.

For East Bay and Peninsula students, Urban offers shuttles to the BART Station at Grove and Market, the Transbay Terminal on Mission Street and the CalTrain Station at 4th & Townsend twice at the end of the day for $2 per trip. Beginning Tuesday, January 5, 2010, we have contracted with Yellow Cabs to provide a portion of the service. All students must reserve a space by 1 p.m. each day at the front desk. The schedule for the departures from Urban will be as follows:

3 p.m. - The Urban mini-van plus one or two Yellow Cabs will drive students to the three commuting stops.
5 p.m. - Yellow Cab(s) will depart for the commuter stops.

Note: parking in either of the St. Agnes parking lots is not allowed during the day or for any sports events at the St. Agnes Gym. Please see the calendar for parking availability for parent meetings or special events.
