Class will begin with a brief slide show about expanding definitions of line and drawing in contemporary art and then move into a series of exercises designed to refine observational skills. The Chamber Orchestra will perform a spectrum of music ranging from the Baroque through popular Jazz standards. The program will include Handel's <i>The Entrance of The Queen of Sheba</i>\, Mascagni's romantic Intermezzo from <i>Cavalleria Rusticana</i>\, Gustav Holst's traditional <i>Brook Green Suite</i>\, and Quincy Jones' toe-tapping <i>Soul Bossa Nova</i>.
